CCA launched a takeover bid for Neverfail Springwater Limited on 29 April 2003 and on the 31st July, CCA announced that they had acquired 90% of shares which was required for the compulsory acquisition of the outstanding shares. On 26 September 2003, CCA completed the acquisition of 100% of Neverfail Springwater Limited.

Neverfail was established in 1987 and has bottling plants throughout Australia including Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Thornleigh in Sydney, its’ largest plant. Neverfail specialises in the delivery of bulk water to Australian homes and offices.
