The Coca-Cola Indonesian Foundation (CCFI) was established on August 8 2000.

The mission of the CCFI is to support social welfare and civic and community development projects in Indonesia, especially in the area of education.  The objective of The Coca-Cola Indonesia Foundation is to provide children and youth with the educational opportunities and support systems they need to become knowledgeable and productive citizens.

The core program of CCFI is the learning centre program, which is aimed at developing

libraries into community learning centres- welcoming spaces that provide information, education and recreation for children and youth.

The learning centre program is continually evolving to stay relevant to today’s needs. The centres have now evolved into hubs for disseminating information and promoting community awareness on a range of relevant issues, including environmental protection and HIV/ AIDS.  In an effort to help bridge the digital divide, the centres are now being outfitted with Internet access and computer resources.

To date, 13 Learning Centres have been set up throughout Indonesia in urban areas such as Jakarta and rural areas such as Gunung Kidul.
