2006
On 8 November 2006, CCA entered into an exclusive agreement through its joint venture company Pacific Beverages, to sell and distribute the premium spirits portfolio of global premium spirits distributor Maxxium, which includes brands such as ABSOLUT VODKA, Jim Beam and Remy Martin.
CCA also entered into an exclusive agreement with Maxxium shareholder Beam Global spirits and Wine Australia to manufacture its alcoholic ready to drink (ARTD) beverages, including Jim Beam & Cola.
On 10 August 2006, CCA announced a 50:50 joint venture with SABMiller plc, one of the world's leading brewers, to sell and distribute imported premium beer in Australia. The venture will be known as Pacific Beverages Pty Ltd, and will initally import SABMiller's premium international premium beer brands, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Miller Genuine Draft and Pilsner Urquell.
2005
On 9 August 2005, CCA purchased the business and assets of Grinders Coffee.
On 25 February 2005, CCA formally completed the acquisition of SPC Ardmona. SPC Ardmona is Australia’s largest producer of packaged fruit and operates 6 principal brands across the processed fruit, vegetables, jams and sauces markets. These brands are SPC, Ardmona, Goulburn Valley, IXL, Southern Cross and Taylor’s.
On 28 January 2005, CCA purchased the Northern Territory soft drink sales, distribution and production assets from Parmalat Australia. This acquisition makes CCA the sole licensee of Coca-Cola products in Australia.
2004
On 23 November 2004, CCA acquired Quirk's Refrigeration (Quirk's). The Quirk's business is predominantly the rental and servicing of commercial refrigeration equipment to major food and beverage manufacturers for use in hotels, bottle shops, the route trade and cafes.
On 3 November 2004, CCA finalised the purchase of the Crusta Fruit Juices Pty Ltd in Australia and its subsidary company Quenchy Crusta Sales, a cold chain distribution company.
On 11 June 2004, CCA opened a state of the art, automated materials handling facility in Mentone, Victoria. The facility was built at a cost of approximately $30 million and is expected to generate annual savings of $7 million.
