CCA Helps out Kids Like Brett

Kids Like Brett is a charity dedicated to raising money to buy life saving medical equipment for sick Kids. Unlike hospitals Kids Like Brett’s founder Steve somehow manages to always purchase the equipment for a greatly reduced rate, meaning that the money he raises buys more equipment than the hospitals ever can.

Coca-Cola Amatil is proud to have supported Kids Like Brett through a promotion in Australian Woolworth’s stores in 2003. The in store Woolworth’s promotion ran in June and July of 2003 and involved 10c from every specially marked 10 packs of Coca-Cola and diet-Coke going to Kids Like Brett.

Steven Jones established Kids Like Brett in 1990 to raise money for life saving equipment for children after their son survived a very rare immune sickness called Nezlof syndrome.

Steve’s passion and dedication to helping out sick kids right across Australia is what attracted CCA to helping out a relatively unknown charity. The gift of Brett’s life not enough for Steve and his wife who have dedicated their lives to raising money for medical equipment.

Steve has combined the $25,000 raised from the Coca-Cola promotion with other money raised through fundraising to purchase specialty equipment for the new Royal North Shore hospital.
