24/7 Support

As a customer of ours, all users of Coke Vending machines will have 24/7 access to our dedicated National Contact Centre, based in Sydney.

Every machine has its own unique number which is clearly displayed on the front of the machine along with our contact details 13 2653 (13 COKE).

Inbound calls to our National Contact Centre are logged into a sophisticated system and either actioned immediately by a friendly representative or escalated as required.

This system presents our National Contact Centre representative with a vast amount of information on every machine including all call logs, service history and fill history related to the machine. Any incident logged is monitored by the National Contact Centre representative until its final resolution.

From time to time, consumers may need to request a refund which Coke Vending provides in response to all requests, expect in very rare instances, such as nuisance callers which our system can identify.

The National Contact Centre team work closely with our Service and Sales team to uphold our commitment to customers and consumers in delivering a refreshingly convenient experience with every vend.

Auditability

All vending machine transactions are recorded, time coded and monitored. Commission calculation is on sales value, less government charges (GST, Container Deposit Scheme).

Coke Vending does not:

  • Charge transaction fees on cashless transactions; or
  • Exclude any portion of the consumer’s payment from the commission calculation.

Commissions are calculated on every recorded sale (not the content of the cashbox, or recorded credit card transactions).

At Coke Vending, we utilise the services of a leading Australian cash handling service provider. This gives us, and you, peace of mind through secure and professional management of all cash handling processes.

At Coke Vending, all commissions are governed by strict control measures to demonstrate our commitment and integrity in the management of cash, stock, calculation and payment of commissions.

As a customer of ours, your business becomes our business! Our highly-skilled service team are situated in every state across the country and manage all service aspects of your machine from refilling, service, cleaning and general maintenance. 

Safety and wellbeing of our employees, contractors and anyone who interacts with us is first and centre of everything we do at Coke Vending.

We are committed to our OH&S obligations, including:

  • All vending machine fillers, maintenance, service and technical staff are highly trained in order to perform their duties and receive ongoing training to ensure skills are up-to-date.
  • All machine service technicians are qualified in their trade and carry appropriate insurances.
  • All our contractors undergo background checks including appropriate credit checks, police check and are covered by relevant insurances.
  • As and when required, our team will undertake any site-specific inductions and safety training requirements. We will prepare and maintain appropriate risk assessments and Safe Work Statements

It is everyone's responsibility to participate in keeping themselves and their workmates safe by their words and actions. By doing this, we will continue to make Amatil a safe place to work.

We strive daily to meet and exceed our responsibility under Occupational Health and Safety legislation, including any additional security requirements unique to your state, industry or site. 

We have stringent quality controls, coupled with strict internal and external auditing procedures and are vigilant in ensuring all procedures and processes are adhered to. Some of these include:

  • All Coca-Cola Amatil Vending machines are compliant with AS/NZS 60335.2.75.2013.
  • All Coca-Cola Amatil vending machines also carry C Tick and (where applicable) A Tick certification.
  • All of our service team receive training specific to the critical areas of operation, such as cash handling, electrical safety and safe operating procedures.
  • All Coca-Cola Amatil service personnel are qualified tradespeople.
  • All Coca-Cola Amatil technicians hold Refrigerant Handling Licenses, and Coca-Cola Amatil have a Refrigerant Trading License authorised by the Australian Refrigeration Council.
  • All Coca-Cola Amatil employees and contractors are subject to personal background and credit checks. 
  • All vending machine fillers, maintenance, service and technical staff have undergone appropriate police, personal background and credit checks.
  • We will undertake all required induction and site safety training requirements and prepare Safe Work Statements and procedures as required.
  • All service technicians are qualified in their trade and carry appropriate insurance.

Certifications

Coke Vending machines are tested to ensure compliance with applicable Australian Standards and Electrical Safety and Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC/C-Tick) requirements. 

Our employees are also fully trained on tasks such as cash handling, as well as operational and electrical safety.

Machine compliance

Our machine fleet is most manufactured with the latest design and enhanced usability features. Coke Vending machines are tested to ensure compliance with applicable Australian Standards and Electrical Safety and Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC/C-Tick) requirements. 

The models can be made to meet specific requirements including appearance and security level. In addition, all Coke Vending’s equipment suppliers must provide documentation to certify that their equipment meets Australian standards.

Multiple payment methods

Most Coke Vending machines accept coins, notes and credit cards. We are also trialling state-of-the-art VendSwift digital vending machines, which conveniently allow customers to quickly purchase drinks using a digital touchscreen.

Power consumption

Coca-Cola Amatil is constantly working with our equipment suppliers to reduce power consumption across our fleet of machines, through more efficient cooling systems, LED lighting, and better insulation.

All of our suppliers must also provide energy usage figures.
