Grinders launches Caffitaly-compatible coffee capsules

Grinders Coffee is this month extending its presence in the coffee capsule market with the launch of its new Grinders Caffitaly coffee capsules in Woolworths.

Grinders Coffee is this month extending its presence in the coffee capsule market with the launch of its new Grinders Caffitaly coffee capsules in Woolworths.

The first café brand to provide supermarket shoppers with a range of locally roasted capsules that were compatible with Nespresso coffee machines, Grinders has now extended its capsule range to include the Caffitaly system.

Perfect for coffee lovers who want to enjoy the fresh, rich flavour of café coffee in the convenience of a capsule, the new Caffitaly system-compatible capsules hold up to eight grams of fresh coffee, ensuring a rich and intense flavour.

Said Neale Wood, Grinders Coffee General Manager, “From humble beginnings in Melbourne’s Lygon St, Grinders has played a pivotal role in Australia’s love of café coffee.

“Alongside Nespresso, the Caffitaly system is the other major player in the capsule market, with around 20% of machines using this format.

“Capsules are the fastest growing coffee segment in the grocery sector and account for almost one of every three dollars spent in Coles and Woolworths on roast and ground coffee. Having been on Woolworths shelves nationally for a couple of weeks now, early sales show they are being well received.”

Established in 1962, for over 50 years Grinders’ Master Roasters have used their expertise to create coffee for cafes across Australia. Now, coffee drinkers can enjoy the Grinders flavour and quality with all the convenience of a home capsule system. Master roasted and blended, Grinders capsules were crafted especially for the Australian coffee palette and are simply sealed fresh for ultimate flavour, complexity and intensity.

Available in three deliciously rich, bold and complex flavours with flavour intensities from 7 to 12, they are perfect for latte, cappuccino or any coffee with milk but equally enjoyable for espresso drinkers.

The range is available now from Woolworths stores across Australia priced at $6.49 for 10 capsules, and compatible with Caffitaly coffee machines.
