Over the next 12 weeks, 22 mentees and mentors will be exploring ways to grow and develop together.
At Coca-Cola Amatil, we understand that our people set us apart and are the reason we can create millions of moments of happiness and possibilities. Our people believe that too.
In 2017 two of our emerging leaders Danielle Beale and Tonya Cronin introduced a mentoring program designed to encourage connection and collaboration across the business, while supporting knowledge sharing, growth and personal development. The idea was inspired by their participation in an industry-wide Women in Drinks mentoring program.
The Pay it Forward mentoring program is now in its fifth round, with participants partaking in a 12-week program focused on growth and development. Together, 22 mentees and 22 mentors will partake in conversations, panel discussions, and networking events all designed to support self-improvement – in both directions.
Jarrad Mortimer Director of Sales for Australian Beverages is a Mentor and shares; “I love being part of the Pay It Forward program. It is an opportunity for shared learning and growth and if I am honest, I get more out of the experience than my mentee. It is definitely an opportunity for shared learning and growth.”

Being a program initiated by employees for employees is also a great demonstration of the Coca-Cola Amatil Value that is ‘take initiative and own the outcome’. Happily, due to its success, there are plans to expand the program Australia-wide!
The program, now managed by Evan Coggins, Lucy Cavallaro and Daniel Heffernan includes mentees and mentors from many departments at Coca-Cola Amatil, as well as our brand partners Coca-Cola South Pacific and Beam Suntory.
