Helping our teams stay connected and collaborate on a regular basis is an important part of our One Amatil culture. 
 
We’re proud of the way our sales and supply chain teams have adapted to change to ensure we’ve been able to continue serving our customers throughout these challenging and disrupted times. 
 
They’ve been supported all the way by our office-based teams, who have embraced a culture of working flexibly from anywhere.  A recent BCG survey on returning to offices showed that employees who can work remotely want to keep doing so, but not every day, confirming that the office still has a role – albeit a changing one. As we start to rebuild, we too believe our Coca-Cola Amatil offices still have an important role to play in building culture, helping our teams stay connected and helping our people stay healthy and well. 
 
That’s why at Amatil, for those that can and want to, working flexibly now means being able to work safely from the office. 
 
In a recent survey, 87% of our employees told us they’re confident they’ll be able to make an effective transition back to the workplace, with the same number believing we had  the right measures in place to make them feel safe.
 
Last Monday we opened up nine of our 90 offices around Australia for employees to return to, as part of our commitment to enabling our team to work flexibly from anywhere. 
 
Hundreds of our team have so far taken the opportunity to return and their feedback is encouraging other colleagues to do the same. 
 
“Today happens to be my first day back in the office after 14 weeks working from home… I couldn’t imagine a better place to work from with everything happening around us.  Coming back and settling in was super easy and stress free thanks to the great updates and tools put in place to support us all through this.” 
 
For those based at our North Sydney head office (pictured), those safety measures include the use of new technology in the form of our new ‘Book a Desk’ app, which has helped us manage reduced capacity and ensure a safe return by giving our team the ability to choose when they wanted to come in, and ensure there was a desk available for them, before leaving home.
