Badminton Must Inspire The Spirit of Championship

Coca-Cola Indonesia signed partnership deal with Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) today in an effort to return the nation’s affection toward badminton, as well as its glory both at home and abroad.

Coca-Cola Indonesia signed partnership deal with Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) today in an effort to return the nation’s affection toward badminton, as well as its glory both at home and abroad.
 
The signing was conducted by Gita Wirjawan, PBSI Chairman; Ahmet Bozer, President of Coca-Cola International, and Martin Gil, President Director of Coca-Cola Indonesia. Renowned Badminton champions, Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir, were also present.
 
In his speech, President of Coca-Cola International Ahmet Bozer says, “For Indonesia, badminton is not just a popular sport, but it is the nation’s pride. Today, Coca-Cola is proud to participate and support the effort to revive spirit of championship through this sport."
PBSI Chairman Gita Wirjawan says, "PBSI welcomes the positive synergy between the Coca-Cola and PBSI Indonesia. We hope PBSI and Coca-Cola can inspire our athletes to continue rekindle the spirit of championship among them, and hopefully, the same spirit will inspire people of Indonesia to love badminton again."

The athletes will be fully supported as a form of appreciation for their pledge to uphold Indonesia’s name in global competitions," concludes Coca-Cola Indonesia’s President Director, Martin Gil.
