CCAI Held Waste Bank Management Training for Communities Surrounding Cibitung Plant

Waste is one of the environmental issues in our community. One of the ways to manage waste is through active participation by the community. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia work together with Komunitas Lingkar Senja to hold a waste bank management training, where household communities starts using waste bank system that will bring environmental benefits. This training was held in Cibitung plant and  lead by the village heads of areas surrounding our plants.

Inside Cibitung Plant auditorium, on Tuesday (24/2), the participants were given training on how to separate organic and non-organic waste, focusing on non organics such as plastic, textile cloth, cans, bottles, metals, glass, and others.

This waste bank management training will be held in stages throughout 2015. Syaifudin Zuhri, as a member of the Lingkar Senja community, stated that as part of the CCAI employees and community, they are active in holding various social activities and always aim to contribute positively for the community surrounding the plant. This training helps raise awareness for the environment and triggers the community to manage their own.
