Occupational Health & Safety Award for CCAI Semarang

Bawen (11/2) Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) Semarang, Central Java, received an award from the District of Semarang asthe best company implementing K3 and the P2-HIV / AIDS program in the Platinum category.

The award was given for our implementation and commitments in CCAI on Safety and Health Management System (K3), both in the plant and in the sales offices. It also recognizes our capability of implementing prevention and control of HIV / AIDS in the workplace. Coinciding with the Occupational Health and Safety month, these awards were presented by the Regent of Semarang Dr. H. Mundjiris, ES. Sp.OG to Ambrosius Padang Nurmandito as the Regional Manufacturing Manager in CCAI Semarang Plant on Wednesday (11/2).

"Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia sees the importance to have a written document on P2- HIV / AIDS and has established procedures and prevention concepts that we apply in all areas where we operate," said Indah Triyanti, Regional Corporate Affairs Manager for East Indonesia.

Implementing Occupational Health & Safety is a top priority in CCAI Semarang, especially in preventing and reducing occupational accidents and occupational diseases as well as the creation of a workplace that is safe and efficient.

"The shared commitment and discipline of safety has become an everyday culture that is applied in CCAI. It is an effort of our hard work, especially our colleagues in the Operations to improve the security, safety and health," said Indah.

On that occasion, the Regent of Semarang expressed his appreciation to companies, employees and communities that have implemented K3 in their daily activity to improve work quality and productivity.
