CCAI shows commitment to support community in which we operate by supporting Bekasi Regency, particularly Bekasi Environmental Agency by hosting three-day training and development workshop for waste bank on 8-10 May 2017. The training kicks-off with opening remarks from Head of Bekasi Environmental Agency Bekasi Ir.Daryanto ,M.Si and Head Division of Pollution Control and Environmental Damage (P3LH) Imam Faturochman, ST,M.Si. Approximately 60 participants from waste bank administrators across Bekasi gather in the area. Take place at Evitel Teuku Umar, participants are exposed to series of module explained by the trainers, including latest regulation of waste management, waste bank diversification, motivation training, presentation technic and public communication, also team building. "The purpose of this training is to build commitment and togetherness in order to increase people awareness and understanding about the importance of waste management. In the future, the participants are expected to be facilitator, instructor, and key source to develop waste banks in Bekasi regency." said Daryanto. He also hoped that this training could contribute a significant increase on Adipura scoring next year. On the last day of training, all participants have the opportunity to visit Maju Bersama waste bank-cooperation and 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) House & Education Park at Ngamprah, Bandung, which initiated by Ir. Mohammad Satori, MT. In this visit, participants can have hands-on experience on how to manage household waste and turn them into something that not only have environmental value, but economical as well.
