Not only to celebrate CCAI having been operating in Indonesia for 25 years, this clean up action also aimed to support Pelabuhan Ratu for the upcoming Adipura environmental awards and promote numerous tourist destinations in Sukabumi, including Geopark Ciletuh. Coinciding National Awakening Day, nearly 200 volunteers from local surroundings: elementary students, Kodim 0622 members, and local residents, gathered at Ciletuh for morning briefing. CCAI WJO's biker community BIRD'S (Brother Independent Riders Bandung Timur) was also making appearance, brought 40 members of their community to participate in this event. After two hours of cleaning Pelabuhan Ratu shoreline, volunteers successfully collected 50 sacks of rubbish. On this occasion, CCAI also donated 25 units of trash bins to Pelabuhan Ratu officials to be soon allocated on several points along shoreline to ensure sustainable waste management.
