Supporting online learning in Bali

As part of our commitment to support our community's development, including education sector, it is important at this time to help them maintain their spirit and enthusiasm for their study. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) handed over computer assistance to two orphanages in Bali to support the children's online learning process. In October 2020, a total of 5 Personal Computer (PC) units were handed over to the Sekar Pengharapan Orphanage Mengwi, and Pasraman Gurukula orphanage, Bangli.

Sekar Pengharapan Orphanage is inhabited by 24 children from economically disadvantaged circles. However, their enthusiasm for learning is high. "Hopefully this assistance can help our children's daily online learning process", said Metsiana, the orphanage manager.

On that occasion, he appreciated CCAI's measure in supporting community activities around its operational areas. He hopes that this assistance can increase children's motivation during the pandemic and foster a spirit of independence and togetherness. "We are realy grateful for the assistance," he said.

In a separate location, I Wayan Arsada, Head of Pasraman Gurukula, Bangli, hoped that the support of this PC unit can also be used as much as possible for teaching and learning activities in the orphanage, which takes care of 96 children of underprivileged families from a number of areas in Bali.
