Our community contribution in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Fiji and Samoa continue to deliver outcomes in partnership with local communities to ensure they are relevant to community development needs and circumstances. Our contribution includes:
Indigenous Barista Training, Australia
Grinders Coffee and the Voyages Hotel Ayers Rock launched a new training program to help young Indigenous people in the region pursue a retail career, through a dedicated barista education and training program.
Cyclone Winston Employee Hardship Fund, Fiji
As one of the region’s largest employers, Paradise Beverages donated FJ$150,000 to the Government disaster relief fund and established an additional dedicated hardship fund to assist those employees worst affected.
In total, 95 employees received food vouchers and assistance to repair damage to their houses or replace lost possessions.
Coca Cola Australia Foundation
The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation is a joint philanthropic initiative of Coca-Cola Amatil and Coca-Cola South Pacific. It helps create millions of moments of happinesss for young Australians, by distributing $1.1 million a year to charities and youth activities.
Since 2002 the Foundation has provided more than $13 million for those in need, including through recent flagship partners The Song Room, the Raise Foundation and the Carer's Foundation.
