POWERADE is launching a unique Breakthrough Academy. It has been created and designed to help 10 aspiring athletes in New Zealand develop their sporting talents.
The POWERADE Breakthrough Academy™ is the chance for a select group of talented athletes to take part in a full immersion one-day session with some of New Zealand’s top sports practitioners and athletes. Run by Nic Gill, All Blacks strength and conditioning coach and featuring an appearance from breakthrough athlete Steven Adams, the Academy is designed to be inspirational and challenging. Those chosen will experience a mix of physical sweat sessions and classroom tuition, including;
- Goal setting and planning
- Training techniques
- Nutrition & Hydration
- Long term athlete development
