Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand (Amatil NZ) has been awarded the prestigious Aon Best Employer Accreditation for the fourth year in a row.

Only a handful of organisations across New Zealand and Australia achieve the Aon Best Employer accreditation. From this exclusive group, only the most committed receive the accreditation a second year, let alone four consecutive years.

Amatil NZ was able to increase its incredible engagement score of 82% last year and reach an eye watering 87% staff engagement for 2019.

Coca-Cola Amatil NZ Managing Director, Chris Litchfield, is proud of his company’s achievements and is honoured to receive this accreditation once again.

“I’m humbled by our people’s dedication and commitment to our values which has resulted in an incredible 87% engagement rate, the highest level we have ever achieved since starting this journey,” says Litchfield.

“We treat accolades and accreditations as a compass rather than the destination. Receiving the Aon Accreditation for the fourth year in a row doesn’t mean we can rest on our laurels, but it suggests we’re on the right track in doing what’s right by our people.”

This continues Amatil NZ’s recent string of official endorsements with the company receiving the inaugural Gender Tick accreditation in 2018, becoming a finalist in the Rainbow Excellence Awards in 2019 and our continued accreditation of the Rainbow Tick which the business has received every year for the past five years.

This year, Amatil NZ was also one of the first New Zealand business to openly support ILGA, the Global Rainbow Conference held in Wellington.

Aon Best Employer Certification

The Aon Best Employers certification compares organisations and identifies those that strive to create sustainable competitive advantages through their people and become extraordinary employers. To achieve recognition through the Aon Best Employers certification Amatil NZ was assessed on four measures:
