We live our values keep it real, stand together, take the lead. Our commitment to making sure our people are working in a safe environment and enjoy coming to work each day has resulted in us being recognised as one of NZ’s best employers for several years in a running.

    In 2014, we were the first FMCG business in New Zealand to achieve the Rainbow Tick. A certification showing our policies and practises welcomes and values diversity. Since then, we have been re-evaluated and re accredited every year.

    YWCA recognised our commitment and alignment with their equal pay credentials by awarding us with the YWCA Compact award (2017).

  • CODE
    We have an in-house committee (CODE) designed to ensure that our policies and processes allow everyone to feel comfortable bringing their whole-self to work.

  • International Women’s Empowerment Principles
    We were one of the first organisations in New Zealand to sign on to the International Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) with the Human Rights Commission, acknowledging the fair treatment of our people.

  • Gender Equality
    We have been recognised with the White Camelia Award in 2013 and 2017 by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.

 

  • Equal Pay

We are committed to delivering equal opportunities for our people, which includes promoting equal pay and eliminating gender pay gaps. In 2023 we removed our gender pay gap. We will continue to develop and expand our efforts to improve gender balance.
