Coca-Cola Food Fest celebrations during PNG's 48th Independence Day Anniversary week

Papua New Guinea celebrated its 48th Independence Anniversary on the 16th of September, 2023. During this annual event, which is one of our most significant Coke with Meals occasions, we aimed to enhance the celebration by launching an innovative campaign known as Coca-Cola PNG Food Fest.

Rather than being driven by specific targets, the campaign focused on brand amplification and offered the opportunity to set up at customer premises, thereby contributing to the promotion of our beverages in their outlets.

The core concept behind this initiative was to bring people together through the enjoyment of Coke, over a delicious meal and create memorable moments during the festivities.

The Coca-Cola PNG Food Fest took place in Port Moresby and Lae, the two major towns in Papua New Guinea. These events offered a wide range of activities for the public to engage in including:

-Live cooking demonstrations of beloved local cuisines and delectable tastings by prominent PNG Chefluencers, who also shared their own unique Recipe for Magic.

-Entertainment by our talented Coke Studio artists and enthusiastic karaoke participants, who delighted in performing their favorite local songs.

-A Magical Play Zone filled with enjoyable games, allowing participants to have fun and win exciting prizes related to Coke & Meals.

Furthermore, the event served as a platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to showcase and sell their products, providing them with valuable exposure.

The Coca-Cola PNG Food Fest aimed not only to unite people through the joy of sharing our beloved beverage brands and great food, music, and entertainment, but also to support our customers and promote local businesses.
