Across our business, we place value on cultivating leaders who embody traits such as courage, commercial acumen, care, connection, and curiosity. We seek leaders who are passionate about the future of CCEP and consistently uphold our values, inspiring those around them to do the same.

We also believe that encouraging diversity of ideas, thinking and experience leads to better ways of working and better business results.

To address this need, we have implemented the Female Acceleration & Empowerment (FAcE) Program. This targeted leadership initiative aims to foster the growth and advancement of women in the CCEP succession pipeline. Participants in this program have the opportunity to assess their careers, leadership abilities, and strengths. By being a part of this program, female leaders can explore the necessary skills to thrive, lead, influence, negotiate, and navigate their career paths.

In December 2021, we launched the FAcE Program with our first cohort of six exceptional participants who have achieved remarkable success in their respective fields. More recently, we conducted a three-day workshop for our second cohort in Lae, taking place from 30th October to 1st November 2023.

The program comprises focused learning modules that nurture leadership skills, foster a growth mindset, and help participants excel in their roles with the support of mentors. Additionally, the FAcE program is grounded in the principle of 'Pay It Forward.' At the conclusion of the six-month journey, participants are expected to take ownership of driving the program forward and supporting their female colleagues in the business through mentorship.

We are honored to have had esteemed guest speakers grace our program, generously sharing their personal and professional experiences to enrich the learning journey of our participants. We extend our sincerest gratitude to Sheila Harou, Senior Sustainability Advisor with Wafi-Golpu Joint Venture, for her enlightening session on 'Understanding the importance of knowing one's strengths.' Vanessa Chan-Pelgens, an accomplished entrepreneur and the School Director of The Regianna International Academy, provided valuable insights on 'Leveraging strengths' and 'The significance of networking.' Judah Waffi, a highly regarded Joint Chief Investment Officer for Nasfund, graciously offered his invaluable perspectives for the second time in this program, exploring 'Why business acumen is essential and how it facilitates employees in forging meaningful career paths.' Finally, we express our appreciation to Idau Raka, the owner of Boss LaeDy Burgers, who shared her wisdom on 'Managing and maintaining work-life balance.'

Finally, would like to acknowledge and express our gratitude to our enthusiastic participants: Lorna Arek, Carolyn Kelly, Magdaline Jandu, Petra Kaiban, Jayleen Wembri, and Nicole Madu. Their wholehearted engagement in the workshop and commitment to this outstanding program are admirable as they embark on their learning journey, taking ownership of their career development and growth as leaders, and ultimately paying it forward.

The program was facilitated by Adlyn Nagwi and co-facilitated by Dianne Ainga, Dianne Iamo and Rhonda Kopman.

We sincerely wish our participants the very best on their learning journey.
